The movement started from Eastern Himalaya region (Sikkim – Darjeeling – Kalimpong – Dooars – Assam – Arunachal Pradesh) and the new network ‘Himalayan Hospitality and Tourism Development Network’ (HHTDN) was formed to plan and mobilize the trade bodies, individuals and associations in tourism of Indian Himalayan Region.
